It can be a real challenge for home schoolers to do science lab projects.  The Science Lab classes will meet once per month and will lead students through a variety of different lab experiences.  These will include dissection of owl pellets, animal organs and small animals, as well experiments in biological, physical and earth science and chemistry.  The labs will be divided into elementary labs and high school labs.  Each will meet a different week of the month.  Students are required to register two weeks prior to the class so that materials can be purchased and proper arrangements made for the class.  Students can also choose to participate in a science fair in May.  They will have time each month to work on their project or report with the SRI instructor. 

Cost:  $20 per lab plus materials, $80 for all 5 labs.  (add $5/lab or $20 total to participate in the
